One of the many gorgeous views along the SR course I knew I was quite undertrained (yeah, summer break made me lazybones), so I knew I wasn't going to beat my previous marathon time, and I was fully okay with that. I just wanted an official finish, and to enjoy the experience, and I definitely did both those things. My parents and Jolie came with me up to Santa Rosa. They've come with me for a race before, but this was the first time they actually came to the expo with me. This was fun for my dad especially because the expo was at DeLoach Winery, and my dad is into wine, so we got in a wine tasting as well. cheeeeeeeeese All the marathon runners (and some of the half marathon runners) got this awesome bottle of wine: As well as this jacket.
